Our story

Luiza and João Pedro met working together in São Paulo, in 2018. For a long time, nothing happened, until a project in Rio, on May 1st 2019, when the first kiss came. They officially started dating on October 24th of that same year.

Their first New Year's as a couple caught them apart, in different parts of Brazil. On a whim, João Pedro sold his party ticket, booked a flight, and landed in Rio at 9pm, ready for a surprise.

Back in São Paulo, Luiza brought up an idea: why not apply for an MBA abroad? He had the desire but didn't think it was time. She convinced him quickly, and the years that followed in London became their first years living together.

The proposal came after returning to Brazil, on November 19th, 2024. In Taíba, on the Ceará coast, João Pedro made up a pretext, set up the scene for the surprise. Few words, improvised, the way it had to be.

And now, Arraial.

It was a natural choice given our love for travel and for the sea. We want to share this with you in Pitinga, on September 6th. May it be light, with sun, with late afternoon breeze, and with the feeling of already being there.
